Pure Gold Tattoos?
Forget the henna and flashy jewelry, the latest accessory trend for the fashion-conscious party-goer in Dubai is a temporary tattoo made of real gold.
A new business in Dubai is offering temporary 24-carat gold tattoos as the ideal body adornment for weddings and other special occasions at a modest starting price of $50, an affordable option given rising gold prices.
Precious Skin has two outlets in Dubai -- one at the luxury, sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel -- which will design and apply body tattoos made of 99.9 percent gold or platinum to add a bit of glitz to your personal style.
"It's a revolution in the body art business, it's the first time we can use 24 carat gold and platinum on skin," said Arnaud Flambeau, managing director of Flambeau Luxury Trading and Precious Skin.
Originally a Japanese concept, Flambeau thought the idea would catch on in the Gulf, where many women have temporary henna tattoos applied for weddings and special occasions.

Would you take health advice from Ozzy Osbourne?
Ozzy Osbourne is the new Dear Abby
Last Updated: 12:32 AM, October 27, 2010
Posted: 11:35 PM, October 26, 2010 more: Ozzy Osbourne is here to solve the world's problems. The seasoned rocker has been signed up by Rolling Stone as its "health columnist." His first outing as the magazine's agony aunt for health, sex and family matters offers such gems of wisdom as this one on how to discuss the dangers of drugs with your kids: "The only time I ever talked to my kids about drugs, it was to ask, 'Can you give me some?' " "Dr. Ozzy" also has kind words for "Adam, from Brooklyn," who complains his girlfriend is too tired for sex. "As I've always said to Sharon, there are 24 hours in a day, so it shouldn't be hard to make sure you spend at least one of them together. Go on a date. Have dinner together. Or put on a wig and a false beard, check into a B&B and [bleep] the [bleep] out of each other, like you're having an affair . . . maybe she just wants more excitement in her life."Read more from the newyork post:

By Chris ChaseIt just got a little more expensive to dress like Rafael Nadal.

Now that Nadal has added a watch to his on-court look, the price went up a little bit. Like $525,000. Read the rest HERE on yahoo.com
RIP Paul Gray, Slipknot bassist found dead in hotel room

Des Moines, Iowa — The Associated PressPublished on Monday, May. 24, 2010 8:40PM EDTLast updated on Tuesday, May. 25, 2010 7:20AM EDT
Paul Gray, the bassist for Grammy-winning metal band Slipknot, was found dead Monday in an Iowa hotel room.
A hotel employee found Gray, 38, dead in a room at the Town Plaza Hotel in Urbandale, a suburb of Des Moines, police said in a statement. Foul play isn't suspected, and an autopsy is planned for Tuesday.
A person who answered the phone at the band's record company, Roadrunner Records, wouldn't give his name and declined comment.
Slipknot's self-titled debut in 1999 sold more than a million copies.
Known for its grotesque masks, the band won a Grammy in 2006 for best metal performance for the song Before I Forget. Pollstar, a concert-industry magazine, ranked Slipknot 18th in its Top 20 Concert Tours list in 2009.
Most of the band's members grew up in the Des Moines area.
Andy Hall, music director of Des Moines rock station Lazer 103.3, said he'd known Gray for 10 years. He described him as a talented bass player who was also one of the friendliest, most caring people he knew.
“This is a big blow, not only to the community of Des Moines but fans of metal at large, worldwide,” Hall said. “It's a devastating loss. Paul was a wonderful human being.”
The station was planning to broadcast an hour-long tribute to Gray on Monday night. theglobeandmail.com

Google TV ?
Google is Headed For Your TV
Jared Newman, PC World
May 20, 2010 11:40 am
Google has partnered with Intel and Sony to create Google TV, an ambitious attempt to bake its Android software into TVs, Blu-ray players, and a Google set-top box called Buddy Box. Google TV is clearly a challenge to Apple TV, the Boxee Box, TiVo and to some extent cable itself. The goal is to fuse the Web with televisions in a way that other Internet-connected TVs don't. That is, Google TV is an open platform free of restrictions and powered by hardware that can handle Flash. Read the rest HERE

Concept car Porsche 911 Turbo TechArt GTstreet Model 997
The cockpit of the TechArt GTstreet also differs distinctly from the stock 911 Turbo. Among the differences is an exclusive leather interior with color-contrasted stitching and sporty CarboBlack highlights. The coupe is further equipped with an ergonomically shaped TechArt sport steering wheel, aluminum foot pedals, foot rest and shifter, as well as with illuminated door sills sporting the TechArt logo.
German TechArt studio will present in Geneva its latest tire-burner based on the current Porsche 911 Turbo 997 series super-coupe. While most tuners focus their efforts on eye-popping exterior enhancements, TechArt’s engineers have centered their attention
Porsche 911 Turbo TechArt on Back BodyThe TechArt GTstreet rear fascia with integrated carbon-fiber diffuser contributes to the strong downforce generated on the rear axle. It also provides the perfect backdrop for the quad exhaust of the TechArt high-performance exhaust system. TechArt Automobildesign offers a number of versions of its popular Formula wheel in sizes 8.5Jx20 in front and 12Jx20 on the rear axle. GTstreet buyers can choose from several color combinations and between the one-piece Formula and the multi-piece Formula II designs. The Formula II wheel features an exchangeable wheel lip. For optimal tires TechArt chose ContiSportContact 3 high-performance tires in sizes 245/30 ZR20 and 325/25 ZR20. The large 20-inch wheels also provide the necessary space for the especially powerful and durable TechArt high-performance brake system. It features six-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 390-millimeter discs on the front axle. The rear axle is fitted with 365-millimeter discs and four-piston fixed calipers. The TechArt GTstreet comes with a TechArt VarioPlus coil-over suspension that is based on the electronically adjustable PASM damping system of the 911 Turbo. This chassis allows individual ride-height lowering by up to 25 millimeters and push-button selection of two different damper settings, “Normal” or “Sport.” However, the dampers are not limited to these presets. Sporty driving automatically results in firmer damper settings in both modes, thus combining excellent ride comfort during normal driving with agile and responsive handling during fast cornering.
The body kit for the TechArt GTstreet was created in the wind tunnel, and offers an optimal symbiosis of aerodynamic down force, minimized drag and striking design. The front fascia of the GTstreet with retractable carbon-fiber splitter produces down force on the front axle and provides radiator, oil coolers and brakes with more cooling air, thanks to its large, striking air inlets. The auxiliary headlamp units with daytime running lights and fog lamps improve active safety. They also give the car even more passing clout. The TechArt GTstreet fender flares on the front axle add 10 mm to the two-door’s width and give it an even more dynamic appearance. But that’s not all: The air outlets behind the front wheel houses optimize brake venting. The larger air ducts in the rear sidewalls provide engine and inter coolers with a larger supply of cooling air. For an optimal transition between front and rear fenders the TechArt designers have developed rocker panels that complement the new contours. TechArt mirror and headlamp moldings provide the finishing touches. The TechArt roof spoiler extends the roof line and optimizes airflow to the adjustable rear airfoil of the GTstreet.
